Go live with tracking

Hello [Vorname],

we hope that you have already had a good start with Friendly Automate. Now it's time for your tracking to go live! In this email we will show you how to do that.

Friendly Tip No. 6: Install the tracking code on your website

By embedding Friendly Automate's tracking code on your website, you will be able to track how your contacts and unknown visitors move across your website and gather valuable information about them.

If you use WordPress, you can easily add the tracking code via a plugin. With all other CMS you can add it manually. We explain both options here:

Integrate the tracking code on your website

Privacy: If you are targeting consumers in Switzerland or the EU, you must inform your website visitors about the tracking. Please note the information in the tracking tutorial. You can find more detailed information about privacy here.

Make tracking more reliable with your own subdomain

Starting from the Professional subscription of Friendly, we will set up a custom domain for you on request and for an additional charge, so that your Friendly Automate is accessible as a subdomain of your own website instead of as a subdomain of ours. This improves your tracking significantly, because you can then use first party cookies.

How to use custom domains

Kind regards,
the Friendly team
